Handguard Options:
We have different profile wood/laminate handguards to match different profile forends.

# 0 (Number Zero)
# 0 is derived from the original GI wood handguard.
It's a little thinner than our #1 Forend and fits well over standard Barrels. It can be made to fit over the Medium
Weight Barrels as well, but it's not recommended for the Heavyweight Barrels. This Handguard is good with any profile
stock as long as you're not using a Heavy Barrel.

# 1
(Number One)
#1 handguard is designed to match our #1 forend
profile. Its a little wider toward the rear of the handguard.

#
2 (Number Two)
#2 handguard is designed to match our #2 forend profile. Its a little wider toward the rear of the

has a Trapazoidal Cross-Section, and is designed with the ability to go over All Barrels.
Recoil Pad
Options: Our pads come standard in Black. If Brown is desired, please specify in the remarks section
of the order form.
Pachmayr SC100 Recoil Pad
SC100 is best for "Snapping In" and pulling quickly
on target as the hard insert in the heel of the pad makes it glide through clothing. The pad is flat with a leather
texture. This pad is best for CQB, patrolling, "Fire and Maneuver", or hog hunting where the target
is moving quickly and quick close snap shot is required. If you are not sure which pad to get, I suggest this pad.
Pachmayr D550 Recoil Pad
D550 is best for static positions or when the pad never
leaves your shoulder. The pad is convex looking at it from the side with an aggressive serrated pattern that grips well.
This is a great pad for precision work, but It's horrible for pulling quickly on target as it will snag on your clothing.
If this is going on a sniper-type rifle that will only be fired from a static supported position then this is a great
pad. It's the best prone pad.
Pachmayr D750B Recoil Pad
D750B is a great overall field pad. It's slightly
convex from the side and from the top. It's going to snag on your clothing when pulling on target, but not as bad as
the D550. This pad is great for deer hunting or "Across the Course" where
you will slowly and deliberately pull on target from multiple positions.
Butt Pitch
Options: We offer two basic pitch (Butt Angle) options.
Zero Pitch
Zero Pitch means the face of the Butt forms a 90 degree
angle with the bore of the rifle. This is our standard offering and is generally recommended if your rifle is primarily
used from the prone posistion. Zero Pitch is required if we are installing a Butt Stock Spacer System. Also, some
prefer the aesthetics of the Zero Pitch.
M-4/M-14 Pitch
Our M-4/M-14 Pitch is a Five Degree Negative Pitch.
This means the Toe of the Butt will be closer to the grip than the heel; in other words, it has an inward angle. Most
standard military rifles have this pitch including the current military version of the M-4 Carbine as well as the original
stock on the M-14 Rifle. The advantage of the Negative Pitch is that the butt sits on the shoulder area with more surface
contact. This pitch does not lend itself well to a spacer system. This is the better Pitch to have if you
are primarily firing from the standing position or if you are shooting and moving.
Custom Pitch (+$50)
Sometimes customers have something different in mind,
maybe even a Positive Pitch. Please let us know if you prefer a different Buttstock pitch; please allow a 1-2 Degree
Tolerance as without you there it may be difficult to duplicate how you were measuring.
Wood
Options
We have several wood options
1. Solid Wood: We order Walnut, Maple, and Myrtle Wood on
a regular basis. This wood varies greatly in figure and grain contrast. Unless specified we don't promise
a particular grade of wood; however, we always try to pick nice looking wood as close to what you want as possible and stay
within your budget.
2. Extra Fancy Solid Wood
+$$$: If desired and the customer is willing to pay for premium wood we can order more expensive grades
of wood. If you're building an heirloom, this may be the best choice, but be prepared to spend up at lest $100 more
and possibly several times that. Most of the time this grade of wood is only purchased to fulfill a particular customer's
order; we generally don't keep this on hand due to costs.
3. In-House
Special Laminates +$$$: We run across different woods that are not thick enough to make into a stock by
itself, but when combined with several layers of the same or different woods can yield a unique look. The cost of this
option will vary greatly. Sometimes we get in wood and build this on our own; check to see what we may have on hand.
We choose wood that when layered together give an effective "Quarter-Sawn" grain pattern so we can build a strong
and beautiful stock.
4. Manufactured Birch Laminates:
We work with an industry leader in obtaining a broad range of laminate color choices and interesting combinations.
Each ply or layer is 1/16" thick and pre-stained/dyed before the entire block is laminated by heat and pressure.
Please see our extensive list below. If you don't see what you want, ask!
Solid Wood
1. Walnut
LAW483 M14H6
Claro Walnut
Most of the time we get in Claro Walnut; however,
sometimes we do order French Walnut or Black Walnut. Walnut is a deep rich brown beautiful wood and is great with
an oil finish.
2. Maple
Maple is our "Blonde" wood of choice. It
can vary great in figure. We use the same clear coat on maple as we use on our laminates.

3. Myrtle Wood
Myrtle Wood is somewhere in between Walnut and
Maple colorwise. If you prefer a golden color Myrtle may be the one to choose.

High Volume Colors
8. Onyx
LAW483 M14P1
Onyx Laminate
Onyx is a Solid Black Veneer. This is a very
special process of creating extra penetration to the cell structure of the veneer, which creates a very rich and black material.
Ther can be some striking variation within the solid Onyx stocks; some are very even in color while others make have extra
dark and extra light streaks within the plys.
9. Charcoal Silvertone (Pepper)
Charcoal Silvertone is our solid black lay-up of layered
veneer. This product is deep in depth and color and highlights the beauty of the charcoal and grey color combination
10. Timber Wolf
M14P1 Timber Wolf
Timber Wolf is the result of having a several
layers of Charcoal wood that unexpectedly stained unevenly. This resulted in an unpredictable faded mix between Charcoal,
and Natural in each ply or layer. Unlike our Coffee and Buckskin Lamanites which are deliberately layered mixes
of similar colors, Timber Wolf fades within the layer rendering a unique color mix that has excellent "Camo"
properties. We originally ordered this thinking is was regular Charcoal, but now offer it as a separate color.
This is availble for a Limited Time Only while the suppy lasts. Be sure to order a matching handgaurd as we may
not be able to make you one later.
11. Nutmeg Brown
Nutmeg Brown is our solid brown lay-up of veneer.
This material is a beautiful brown color, that often has hints of redish accents. We find the actual color is much lighter
than the manuafcturer's sample photo to the left.
12. Copper Dust (Light Nutmeg Brown)
Copper Dust is a Light Nutmeg Brown. It
is an older discontinued version of Nutmeg. It's very nice color for those who want a stock that not too light
or too dark. The newer Nutmeg is much darker. We originally ordered this thinking is was regular Nutmeg, but now
offer it as a separate color. This is availble for a Limited Time Only while the suppy lasts. Be sure to
order a matching handgaurd as we may not be able to make you one later.

14. Natural Birch
Natural Birch is unstained lamanite. The
clear coat makes this a very light blonde color that many prefer. If Nutmeg Brown is too dark, this may be your
desired color of choice.
Photo Not Available
15. Natural Birch, Stained Darker +$25
Many customers prefer the strength of the lamanite
wood, but want a brown color that is different, often darker than either the Natural, Nutmeg Brown, or Winewood options.
If you want a color that's closer to Walnut, but deffinately want lamanite, choose this option and we can discuss the stain's
shade.
